Gakuran Music Room: Songs, Piano & Instruments Guide

The Music Room is Gakuran's rhythm-game minigame space, built around four playable instruments and a shared song list. It's one of the few systems in the game that rewards playing with other people instead of against them.

The Four Instruments

Each instrument uses the same note-lane rhythm system, but the lane count changes the difficulty:

• Electric Guitar — the easiest instrument, with only two note lanes (played with F and J)
• Bass Guitar — four note lanes
• Drums — four note lanes
• Piano — four note lanes

Sit at any instrument to bring up its note chart. Notes travel down the lane toward a fixed marker — hit the matching key as each note crosses it for a Perfect, Good, Okay, or Bad rating.

How to Open the Song List

Press G at any instrument to open its song list. Songs are organized into four difficulty tiers:

• Easy — short, forgiving note charts, aimed at players still learning where notes fall
• Medium
• Hard
• Extreme — the densest, fastest note charts in the room

Once the list is open, press a number key (1–0) to select a track and start playing. The exact tracklist isn't published by the developers and rotates with updates, so check the in-game list at your instrument for what's currently playable — treat any specific song-title list you see on other sites as unconfirmed until Gakuran's own developers publish one.

Playing as a Band

The Music Room holds a piano, drum kit, and two guitars in the same space, and the instruments support synchronized group play — anyone who joins a song already in progress is automatically synced to the current point in the track. That means a full four-person band (guitar, bass, drums, piano) can play through the same song together in time, rather than each person running their own separate session.
